We are capable of forming deep connections with a chatbot — and that fact alone is cause for concern, says Aaron Ahuvia, Professor of Marketing at the University of Michigan-Dearborn College of Business. One of the most widely published and cited academic experts on non-interpersonal love, Ahuvia warns that we need to pay close attention to how some companies might be tempted to exploit this vulnerability.
